At 1245 PM EDT, a confirmed large and destructive tornado was located
over Weston, or 9 miles southwest of Preston, moving east at 40 mph.

TORNADO EMERGENCY for FAR SOUTHEAST STEWART AND WEBSTER COUNTIES.
This is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. TAKE COVER NOW!

HAZARD...Deadly tornado.

SOURCE...Emergency management confirmed tornado and a history of
         producing damage from a half mile to one mile wide.

IMPACT...You are in a life-threatening situation. Flying debris may
         be deadly to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes
         will be destroyed. Considerable damage to homes,
         businesses, and vehicles is likely and complete destruction
         is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Preston, Richland, Weston, Troutman, Kimbrough, Centerpoint, Dumas,
Leveretts and Chambliss.

* At 1208 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a
  tornado was located over Crossroads, or near Georgetown, moving
  northeast at 35 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and ping pong ball size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree
           damage is likely.
