TRACKING THE TROPICS 0305 PM EDT AUG 11, 2017

RTW:  Ralph's Tropical Weather

1.  Will be monitoring the coast of Africa into next week for more possible development....RTW

2.  INVEST 99L Still being monitored for possible development by the weekend, however it seems to be encountering dry and and wind shear for now.  Weak systems tend to track more westward as they are not influenced by cold fronts, low pressure and a weakness in the high pressure ridge.

If this system don't get its act together then it will more than likely continue on the west to a west-northwest track.  However models are suggesting that this system will move into a more favorable environment and become a tropical cyclone as it tracks east of the Eastern Seaboard and hopefully out to sea....RTW
