Tomorrow's Severe Thunderstorm Outlook.

THE 1008 SURFACE LOW HAS MOVED INLAND OVER SOUTHEAST NICARAGUA

 RALPH'S TROPICAL WEATHER

1008 MB SURFACE LOW MOVE INLAND ALONG THE SOUTHEAST NICARAGUA COAST.  THE CIRCULATION FROM THIS SYSTEM IS PRODUCING HEAVY RAIN BANDS OVER THIS REGION AND HONDURANS.  FLASH FLOODS AND DEADLY MUDSLIDES STILL THE MAIN THREAT.

...THE CARIBBEAN SEA...

Upper level cyclonic wind flow is to the west of the line that
runs from 11N75W at the coast of Colombia, to 17N81W, to the
Gulf of Honduras. Upper level anticyclonic wind flow is curving
away from the area of cyclonic wind flow, toward Cuba and
Hispaniola. A 1008 mb low pressure center is near 11N83W, along
the SE coast of Nicaragua. Convective precipitation: widely
scattered moderate to isolated strong from 11N to 18N between
80W and 87W,covering parts of Nicaragua and Honduras, and the

SURFACE LOW TRACKING WEST OVER NICARAGUA AND HONDURAS

NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER

CARIBBEAN SEA...

An area of showers and thunderstorms persists over the SW
Caribbean associated with a surface low pressure located near
10N81W. The strongest convection associated with this system is
currently over waters, affecting mainly the area from 12N to
15.5N between 79W and 83W. A well defined diffluent pattern aloft
is helping to induce this convective activity. Computer model
indicates that all this moisture will spread across northern
central America and the Gulf of Honduras on Monday and will likely
persist on Tuesday. Locally heavy rain, with the potential of
flash flooding and mudslides could occur over parts of northern
Costa Rica, Nicaragua and Honduras through Monday.
