Central Lee County in southwestern Florida...
* Until 300 PM EDT
* At 215 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 14 miles southwest
of Lovers Key State Park, or 18 miles west of Bonita Springs,
moving northeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Tropics are quiet not much to talk about. Steady moisture from the Gulf is being pumped in by an upper level low east of southeast Louisiana. That low is not moving very much so we could see this moisture streaming over Florida the next few days. An Aerial Flood Watch has been issued for a portion of Southern Florida until Wednesday evening. There are present flood warning in the northern part of the state at this time as well...RTW
