...SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS POSSIBLE OVER LOCAL WATERS OVERNIGHT...
THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR SOUTH FLORIDA.
.DAY ONE...TONIGHT
THUNDERSTORMS: A FEW THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS SOUTH
FLORIDA OVERNIGHT, WITH THE HIGHEST COVERAGE OVER THE LOCAL GULF AND
ATLANTIC WATERS. CLOUD TO GROUND AND CLOUD TO WATER LIGHTNING STRIKES
WILL BE THE MAIN THREAT. STRONGER STORMS OVER THE LOCAL GULF WATERS
MAY BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING GUSTY WINDS.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY
A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL MOVE INTO SOUTH FLORIDA DURING THE DAY ON
SATURDAY, BRINGING NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND LIGHTNING STORMS ACROSS THE
REGION. A FEW STRONGER STORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE SATURDAY AFTERNOON,
THAT MAY BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING GUSTY WINDS AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING
STRIKES.
GUSTY WINDS BEHIND THE COLD FRONT ARE EXPECTED TO BRING DETERIORATING
CONDITIONS OVER THE LOCAL GULF AND ATLANTIC WATERS LATE ON SATURDAY
INTO SATURDAY NIGHT ALONG WITH AN INCREASE IN RIP CURRENTS ALONG THE
GULF AND ATLANTIC BEACHES THROUGH THE WEEKEND.
A BRIEF SHOT OF COLDER AIR IS ALSO EXPECTED TO FILTER INTO THE REGION
BEHIND THE FRONT SATURDAY NIGHT, WITH TEMPERATURES DROPPING INTO THE
LOW-MID 40S ACROSS THE WESTERN INTERIOR. THESE TEMPERATURES, IN
COMBINATION WITH GUSTY WINDS MAY BRING WINDS CHILLS INTO THE MID-
UPPER 30S INTO SUNDAY MORNING.
.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
SPOTTER ACTIVATION WILL NOT BE NEEDED TONIGHT.
