URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Severe Thunderstorm Watch Number 69 NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 335 AM CST Tue Mar 7 2017 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of Southern and eastern Arkansas Northern Louisiana Missouri Bootheel Northern Mississippi Western Tennessee * Effective this Tuesday morning from 335 AM until NOON CST. * Primary threats include... Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible A tornado or two possible SUMMARY...A band of thunderstorms is forecast to move southeastward into and across the watch area this morning, with embedded storms moving rapidly east-northeastward. This activity will offer primarily a risk of damaging gusts. Isolated, marginally severe hail and a tornado cannot be ruled out. The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 75 statute miles either side of a line from 30 miles west southwest of El Dorado AR to 35 miles northeast of Tupelo MS.
