No worries for the Caribbean or U.S. mainland, but models have been suggesting that a sub-tropical or maybe tropical system could develop over the North Central Atlantic as it merges with a frontal boundary. This low is presently near 25 north and 69 west or several hundered miles north of Dominican Republic and seems to be in the mid to upper levels of the atmosphere.
If this were to occur it would be only a concern to the shipping lanes. Winds could reach gale force as this system merges with the frontal boundary and begins to strengthen.
I am posting updates on my new website and the track there is now a forecast track its just where approximately some of the models suggest it would be. So it is not official...RTW
