TROUGH IN THE BAHAMAS WILL ENHANCE STORMS OVER FLORIDA TONIGHT

I mentioned about this trough over the Bahamas interacting with an upper level low over western Cuba.  You can see what was spotty scattered showers before becoming more concentrated and some have become strong enough to require Special Marine Warnings.

What does this mean for some of us?  Well those stronger cells will produce heavy tropical downpours, Lightning, and squally gusty straight line winds.  You can't rule out waterspouts making it on shore the east coast as a tornado and some severe thunderstorms as well.  Although I don't think it will be a total washout, we can still expected a wet night and morning, and may be Saturday afternoon depending on the forward motion of this trough and upper level low.

There is plenty of lightning with these tropical showers moving on shore ahead of the trough over the Bahamas.
