TROPICAL DEPRESSION THREE
JULY 22, 2019...0409 PM EDT
Ralph's Tropical Weather (RTW)
After reviewing the latest satellite imagery it looks like this system is already encountering some shear. You can see the coldest cloud tops have been warming and with some small burst of colder cloud tops trying to redevelop. This system has a history of diminishing showers and storms during the night time hours as this system loses the heat from the day. Although NHC decided to upgrade to a depression, this system will more than likely be a short lived system as upper level conditions continue to become unfavorable.
Most of the models re-curve this system off shore the east coast of Florida. If that is the case and the showers and storms remain north and east of the low then Florida should remain on the dry side of this system. I will continue to monitor this system, and will post a brief update this evening if conditions warrant and update.
