TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK JULY 26, 2019

Tropical Weather Outlook

Ralph's Tropical Weather (RTW)

1.  A westward moving tropical wave just off the African coast near 20°-17° west has some strong to moderate thunderstorm activity and seems to have a slight spin with this area of storms.  This could be a weak low moving along with the wave.  Not sure if this is the same low that the EURO models hinting a weak development or not so I will monitor it into next week.

2.  A westward moving tropical wave near 41°-40° west has strong to moderate thunderstorms on both sides of the waves axis.  The area of showers storms east of the wave also seems to have a weak spin to it.  There are no signs of organization at this time.

3.  A westward moving tropical wave near 47°-46° west also has shower and storm along the waves northern axis.  I believe most of these storms along this area are related to a monsoon trough and the inter-tropical convergence zone.

4.  A westward moving tropical wave near 70°-69° west has some strong to moderate showers and storms along the southern axis of the wave.

5.  A westward moving tropical wave near 84°-83° west has strong showers and storms to the east of the southern axis of this wave.  This wave is inland over Nicaragua and Honduras.
