DORIAN 05 PM EDT PUBLIC ADVISORY

DORIAN 0500 PM EDT ADVISORY
AUG 26, 2019...
RALPH'S TROPICAL WEATHER- RTW

THERE ARE NO DOUBTS THAT WE COULD SEE DORIAN CROSS OVER FROM THE CARIBBEAN TO THE ATLANTIC AND EAST OF THE BAHAMAS THIS WEEK, HOWEVER, WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THAT IS HIGHLY UNCERTAIN AT THIS TIME.

MOST OF THE MODELS SUGGEST FLORIDA, ANYWHERE FROM SOUTH TO CENTRAL FLORIDA.  OTHER QUESTION IS HOW STRONG WILL DORIAN BE.  WILL IT PASS DIRECTLY OVER DOMINICAN OR IN BETWEEN DOMINICAN AND PUERTO RICO.

FORECASTING THIS SMALL STORM WILL BE DIFFICULT DURING THE NEXT 48 HOURS OR SO.  AS WE GET CLOSER TO A 5 DAY TO 6 DAY FORECAST CONFIDENCE IN MODELS INCREASES AND WE WILL HAVE A BETTER IDEA WHERE THIS STORM MIGHT END UP.

IN THE MEAN TIME CHECK YOUR SUPPLIES, BATTERIES, WATER AND OTHER ESSENTIAL ITEMS FOR YOUR KIT.  BE HURRICANE READY IN CASE DORIAN DECIDES TO COME.
