RALPH'S TROPICAL WEATHER- RTW
DORIAN IS LOOKING MORE SYMMETRICAL IN SHAPE ON THE ZOOMED IN VISIBLE SATELLITE THIS MORNING. LOOKS A BIT LARGER IN SIZE TOO.
INTENSITY MODELS CALL FOR A STRONG TROPICAL STORM TO MAYBE A CAT 1-2 HURRICANE. NOTE THERE ARE TWO OTHER THAT SUGGEST CAT 3 CAT 4. WILL SEE HOW IT PANS OUT IN THE COMING DAYS.
AS FOR THE FORECAST THEY SEEM TO HAVE SHIFTED NORTH AND HOLDING WITH THE EURO MODEL. SOME ARE LOWER LATITUDE BRINGING THE CYCLONE OVER OR NORTH OF LAKE OKEECHOBEE AND THE NAVY MODELS A DIRECT TRACK OVER SOUTHERN FLORIDA CITY, HOMESTEAD AREA. IT IS STILL TO SOON TO KNOW WHERE THE TRACK WILL TAKE THIS STORM SYSTEM, SO YOU JUST HAVE TO BE READY. SO FAR IT LOOKS LIKE A WEST PUERTO RICO TO EAST DOMINICAN REPUBLIC OR BETWEEN THE MONA PASSAGE.
