RALPH'S TROPICAL WEATHER- RTW
1. THERE IS A TROPICAL IN THE EASTERN ATLANTIC BETWEEN THE AFRICAN COAST AN THE CABO VERDE ISLANDS THAT HAS SOME POTENTIAL FOR DEVELOPMENT. MOST OF THE MODELS DON'T SUGGEST DEVELOPMENT BUT THE GFS SUGGEST DEVELOPMENT IN THE CARIBBEAN IN THE COMING WEEK.
THE EUROPEAN MODEL ON THE OTHER HAND, SUGGEST THIS SYSTEM WILL CURVE TO THE NORTHWEST, NORTHEAST OF THE NORTHERN LEEWARD ISLANDS.
2. A TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE PRODUCING DISORGANIZED SHOWERS AND STORMS SEVERAL HUNDRED MILES EAST OF THE NORTHERN LEEWARD ISLANDS, HAS A LOW CHANCE FOR DEVELOPMENT. NONE OF THE MODELS ARE SUGGESTING DEVELOPMENT WITH THIS SYSTEM BUT IT WILL BE MONITORED AS LONG AS IT IS PRODUCING THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY.
3. AN AREA OF SHOWERS AND STORMS SEVERAL HUNDRED MILE NORTHEAST OF BERMUDA IS NOT SHOWING ORGANIZATION AT THIS TIME. THIS SYSTEM WILL BE MOVING TOWARD THE NORTHEAST AND WILL BE ABSORBED BY DORIAN ANS IT PASSES OVER NOVA SCOTIA AND NEWFOUNDLAND.
ELSEWHERE THE TROPICS REMAIN QUIET FOR NOW.
