THE TURN IS FORECAST AND THIS IS WHAT I THINK WILL HAPPEN.

NOTE I AM BORROWING THE NWS MAP TO MAKE DRAWING. THIS IS NOT AND OFFICIAL FORECAST.

AS I SEE NOW THE HIGH PRESSURE THAT HAS BEEN MOVING DORIAN WESTWARD, IS BACKING OFF TO THE EAST.  A STATIONARY FRONT OVER NORTHERN FLORIDA, AND THE ATLANTIC WILL BE PICKED UP BY ANOTHER TROUGH, THIS WILL LEAVE A WEAKNESS TO THE NORTH OF DORIAN.  ANOTHER STRONGER COLD FRONT/TROUGH WILL MOVE INTO THE SOUTHEAST HELPING TO PICKUP DORIAN AND MOVE IT NORTHWARD.

THE ONLY CONCERN HERE IS THAT DORIAN COULD SHIFT A BIT MORE WEST BEFORE MAKING THAT TURN NORTH AND THIS COULD BRING STRONGER WINDS NORTH FROM PALM BEACH TO THE CAROLINA'S.

IN THE MEAN TIME THE BAHAMAS IS SUFFERING CATASTROPHIC DAMAGE AND LIFE-THREATENING STORM  SURGE FOR THE NEXT 36 HOURS AS THE CYCLONE BECOMES NEARLY STATIONARY OVER THE GRAND BAHAMAS.

MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS FOR THEM ALL!
