000 ABNT20 KNHC 141754 TWOAT Tropical Weather Outlook NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL 200 PM EDT Thu Oct 14 2021 For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico: A broad area of low pressure located several hundred miles north of Puerto Rico continues to produce a large area of disorganized showers and thunderstorms primarily east of its center. Recent satellite wind data indicates this low remains elongated on its west side and strong upper-level winds are expected to prevent significant development of this system during the next day or so. On Friday, this low is forecast to accelerate to the east-northeast while merging with a mid-latitude trough and further tropical development is not anticipated after that time.
