...HIGH PRESSURE STILL IN CONTROL...STEERING CURRENTS OVER THE CARIBBEAN ARE FLOWING EAST TO WEST...SHOULD KEEP ANY STORM ON A WESTERLY TRACK...

  •  Hurricane Blas still on a westerly track, no threat to land.
  • Storm Invest 93E South of Central America East Pacific now has a High 80/80% chance for development.
  •  As for Storm Investigation 93L over Nicaragua chances for development remain Low 10/20% chance for development.  Since high pressure is still in control over the East and Southeast U.S. and the Caribbean the steering currents around the ridge are flowing east to west.  So any storm development in the South or Northwest Caribbean should track west to a west north west.  The Low being over Nicaragua also prevents this system from development.  There is still is some Lite Sahara dust lingering as well over the Caribbean and Gulf of Mexico.
