...STORM INVEST 97L IS DISORGANIZED...HOSTILE ATMOSPHERIC CONDITIONS AHEAD OF THIS SYSTEM SHOULD HINDER DEVELOPMENT...

GOOD MORNING!

I BEEN MONITORING THE ENVIRONMENT AROUND AND AHEAD OF STORM INVEST 97L AND IT LOOKS LIKE THIS SYSTEM WILL BE MOVING INTO THE HOSTILE ENVIRONMENT BY THIS WEEKEND WHICH IS NOT FAVORABLE FOR DEVELOPMENT.

SAHARA DUST AND DRY AIR IS TO THE NORTH OF 97L AND AHEAD AS IT NEARS THE NORTHERN LEEWARD ISLANDS AND THE EASTERN CARIBBEAN, THERE IS STRONG UPPER LEVEL SHEAR FORECAST FOR THIS WEEKEND.  NOT LOOKING LIKE MUCH DEVELOPMENT WILL OCCUR.

NHC HAS LOWERED FORMATION CHANCE FROM MEDIUM 40% CHANCE WITHIN 5-DAYS TO LOW 30% CHANCE.

I WILL CONTINUE TO MONITOR FOR ANY CHANGES.
