...IAN UPDATE AND A LOOK AT THE TROPICS 10:00 AM EDT...

IAN CONTINUES TO PRODUCED STRONG GUSTY WINDS AND CATASTOPHIC FLOODING IN ITS PATH.  THIS STORM SURGE WILL AFFECT NORTHEAST FLORIDA COAST TO GEORGIA, CAROLINA COAST AS IAN MOVES INLAND.  SOME OF THE MODELS TURN THE REMNANTS OF IAN BACK OVER THE ATLANTIC WHILE OTHERS DON'T.

AS FOR TROPICAL DEPRESSION ELEVEN THAT STORM SYSTEM WILL REMAIN OVER THE ATLANTIC AND DISSIPATE.  ELSEWHERE I DON'T SEE ANY OTHER STORM DEVELOPMENT THAT WOULD AFFECT LAND AT THIS TIME.

I BELIEVE THAT THE ACCUMULATED CYCLONE ENERGY LEFT BEHIND BY FIONA WHICH HELPED TH FORMATION OF OTHER STORMS IN THE PAST WEEKS AND IAN HAS BEEN USED UP BY IAN SO LET'S HOPE THAT IT LAST.

HOWEVER, WE ARE GOING INTO OCTOBER AND DEVELOPMENT IN THE CARIBBEAN COULD OCCUR SO I WILL CONTINUE TO MONITOR THE REST OF THE SEASON.
