..TROPICAL OUTLOOK JUNE 25, 2026..

 

Please note that I will be away on a short vacation from June 26–28. I will continue monitoring tropical weather and storm activity from my phone and will post updates on Facebook if conditions warrant. God willing, I will return with a tropical weather updates here on the blog on Monday.

A tropical wave moving through the central Caribbean is producing thunderstorms with gusty winds, heavy rainfall, and frequent lightning along the northern portion of the wave. These storms are currently affecting the Dominican Republic.

At this time, there are no signs of tropical cyclone development associated with this wave or any other tropical waves across the Atlantic basin.

According to the National Hurricane Center, tropical cyclone formation is not expected anywhere in the Atlantic basin during the next seven days.

Una onda tropical que se desplaza por el Caribe central está produciendo tormentas eléctricas con ráfagas de viento, lluvias intensas y abundante actividad eléctrica a lo largo de la porción norte de la onda. Actualmente, estas tormentas están afectando a la República Dominicana.

Por el momento, no hay indicios de desarrollo ciclónico tropical asociado con esta onda ni con ninguna otra onda tropical en la cuenca del Atlántico.

Según el Centro Nacional de Huracanes (NHC), no se espera la formación de ciclones tropicales en ninguna parte de la cuenca del Atlántico durante los próximos siete días.
