The area of low pressure that forecast models indicate may develop over the eastern Gulf is likely to bring beneficial rainfall to portions of Florida. At this time, none of the guidance suggests the development of a strong tropical system. Instead, it appears more likely to remain a weak, primarily non-tropical area of low pressure. I will continue to monitor its evolution and provide updates as needed.

The storm Invest west of the African coast will more than likely be a short lived system as it track west-northwest.
