Models are flip flopping again, and are once again suggesting that a low associated with a front and squall line that affected Texas over night, will track a low from the the Gulf across Southern Florida Peninsula.
Most of the models show a broken line of storms and nothing significant at this time. However, between Wednesday evening and Thursday we can see and increase in showers and storms across the state. Some of these cells could become strong to severe at times if they hold their energy. I will continue to monitor this system during the next few days.

MODELS COME TO THEIR SENSES, NO LONGER INSISTING ON LOW IN GULF
After reviewing the latest model run for Saturday Feb 18, 2017 models have dropped the notion that low pressure may form possibly a sub-tropical system in the Gulf and track across Florida during middle of next week. I will keep monitoring in case it pops back up again.
