EST...Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong
thunderstorms with
rotation, Capable of producing a funnel cloud
along a line
extending from Parkland to 6 miles east of Wilderness
Waterway...and moving
southeast at 45 mph.
* In addition,
frequent to excessive lightning, gusty winds up to 55
mph, small hail,
torrential downpours, or a combination of these
are possible.
Lightning is the number one weather related killer
in Florida. Trees and
open shelters offer no protection.
These winds can down
small tree limbs and branches, and blow around
unsecured small
objects. Seek shelter in a safe building until the
storm passes.
