...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1230 PM EST FOR BERKELEY
AND DORCHESTER COUNTIES...

At 1217 PM EST, a severe squall line capable of producing both
tornadoes and extensive straight line wind damage was located near
Cross, moving east at 55 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is
         likely.

Locations impacted include...
Cross.

At 1208 PM EST, a severe squall line capable of producing both
tornadoes and extensive straight line wind damage was located 15
miles north of Givhans Ferry State Park, moving east at 55 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is
         likely.

Locations impacted include...
Saint George, Dorchester, St. George, Harleyville and Cross.

           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree
