TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK JUNE 3, 2019 1124 AM EDT


TROPICAL WAVES:

#1  A west moving tropical wave near 18°/19° West is interacting with the Monsoon trough and the Inter-Tropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) south of 10° North.  There are no signs of tropical cyclone formation at this time.

#2  A west moving tropical wave near 31°/32° West is also interacting with the ITCZ and there is no signs of tropical cyclone formation at this time.

#3  Another westward moving tropical wave near 51°/52° West has made it on shore the northeast coast of South America.  A portion of the southern axis of the wave is over land. The northern axis is still over the Atlantic.  Some showers are associated the ITCZ but not as numerous as the other two waves.  There are no signs of tropical cyclone formation at this time.

#4  Invest 91L is now slowly tracking northwestward and is expected to spread heavy rains up the Gulf coast from Mexico to Louisiana in the coming days.  This system has a Medium 60% chance for development within 48 hrs and within 5 days.
