TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK JULY 15, 2019 0300 PM EDT

Tropical Weather Outlook
July 15, 2019 0300 PM EDT
Ralph's Tropical Weather (RTW)

1.  A new westward moving tropical wave introduced to the surface map by NHC is located near 15°-19° West.  This wave is accompanied by an area of strong to moderate thunderstorms activity.  The waves axis is mostly over land with while the southern half of the axis is over the southwest Atlantic.

2.  A westward moving tropical wave near 36°-35° West is lacking thunderstorm activity and there are no signs of tropical cyclone development at this time.

3.  A high latitude westward moving tropical wave near 47°-45° West is mostly void of thunderstorms.  There are no signs of tropical cyclone formation.

4.  A westward moving tropical wave near 70°-69° West is accompanied by an area of strong to moderate showers and thunderstorms.  I am monitoring this area as it continues to track west even though non of the models suggest development.  This system is being affected by southerly wind shear at this time.  If im not incorrect this use to be the swirl in the Atlantic called Invest 93L.  There still seems to be a weak spin to the clouds.

5.  A westward moving tropical wave near 86°-85° West has moved inland over Nicaragua/ Honduras and will soon be removed from the Atlantic outlook and added to the East Pacific outlook.
