TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK JULY 2, 2019

1.  A westward moving tropical wave near 22°-21° West is producing showers and storms along the southern axis of the wave.  More than likely an interaction with the inter-tropical convergence zone.

2.  A westward moving tropical wave near 40° West is also producing showers and storms along the southern axis of the wave.  More than likely inter-tropical convergence zone interaction as well.

3.  A westward moving tropical wave near 71° West is passing through an outflow area of light showers and clouds in the mid to upper level of the atmosphere.  These clouds are being produced by and upper level system ahead of this wave.

4.  A westward moving tropical wave near 82°-81° West is is moving through an area of dry air north of the waves axis.

Western Gulf of Mexico showers and storms are drifting northward over slightly east over Southern Louisiana.  If they move inland this could produce flooding.

Tropical Cyclone formation is not expected through Thursday.
