AIR FORCE RECON FINDS LOWER PRESSURE AND 125 MPH WINDS.

THIS EVENING AIR FORCE RECON FLYING A MISSION INTO DORIAN'S EYE FIND A PRESSURE 950 MB.  WINDS WERE 110 MPH AT 5 PM AND THEY HAVE INCREASED TO 125 MPH.  THAT'S A 20 MILLIBAR DROP SINCE 5  PM EDT AND A RAPIDLY

INTENSIFYING  MAJOR HURRICANE.  EVEN THOUGH INTENSITY MODELS ARE NOT CALLING FOR A CAT 5 YOU CAN RULE IT OUT AS IT MOVES THROUGH THE WARM WATER OF THE BAHAMAS.  FORWARD SPEED IT STILL SLOW AT 10 MPH, AND THIS IS A PERFECT SPEED FOR THE CYCLONE TO BENEFIT FROM THE WARM OCEAN WATER.

ALTHOUGH I AM NOT DROPPING MY GUARD HERE IN MIAMI SEEING THE MODELS SUCH AS THE EURO OFF SHORE THE COAST AND SOME OTHER OUTLIER MODELS OVER THE OCEAN, I AM FEELING A BIT BETTER ABOUT THE FORECAST.  I WILL CONTINUE TO MONITOR AND HOPE AND PRAY THAT THE RIGHT SHIFT TO THE MODELS CONTINUE IN RESPONSE TO THE FRONT/ TROUGH THAT MAY BEAT DORIAN TO THE COAST BEFORE THE STORM ARRIVES.

ONCE AGAIN THOSE ARE MY THOUGHT ON WHAT I BEEN SEEING BUT IT IS NOT A FORECAST SO PLEASE DON'T DROP YOUR GUARD.
