TROPICAL UPDATE AUG 25, 2019

I am surprised to see a small storm system like Dorian surviving Sahara dust and dry air.  Must be that it is not fully covered by the dust.  You can see a darker shade around the storm system which could be less dust around Dorian. However, the EURO and GFS show Dorian dissipating as it enters the Eastern Caribbean.  We still need to monitor it.  But so far I like what I see in this morning model run.  Let's hope each run shows that same.
