Ralph's Tropical Weather- RTW

1.  A westward moving tropical wave associated with a 1013 mb low pressure near 26° West is moving through an area of dry air.  There are no signs of organization.

2.  A westward moving tropical wave associated with a 1012 mb low pressure known as Invest 96L near 44° West, this wave has some scattered showers and storms along the northern axis mainly due to the interaction with the Inter-tropical convergence zone in this area.  This system if it were to slightly develop, would be short lived.  Conditions ahead of this wave have are becoming unfavorable for any further development.  Formation chance through 48 hours are low 20% and through 5-days Med 40%.

3.  A large westward moving tropical wave near 61° West is accompanied by some strong to moderate showers and storms to the north of the waves axis.  If these showers and storms hold up then it could enhance the rain and storm chance Greater Antilles this weekend and next week for Florida.  There are no signs of organization at this time.

4.  A westward moving tropical wave 85°/86° West is lack thunderstorms.  There are no signs of organization.

Else where in the tropics tropical cyclone formation is not expected through Sunday.

For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:

An elongated area of low pressure located over the central tropical
Atlantic Ocean several hundred miles southeast of the Lesser
Antilles continues to generate limited showers and thunderstorms.
Some slow development of this system is possible, and a tropical
depression could form well east of the Leeward Islands by early next
week while the low moves west-northwestward at 10 to 15 mph.
Upper-level winds are forecast to become less conducive for
development as the system approaches the Leeward Islands Tuesday and
Wednesday.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...20 percent.
* Formation chance through 5 days...medium...40 percent.
