RALPH'S TROPICAL WEATHER- RTW
1. NEW TROPICAL WAVE OVER THE WEST AFRICAN COAST. THIS WAVE IS LOOKING RATHER HEALTHY ON SATELLITE, WE WILL HAVE TO SEE IF IT HOLDS TOGETHER AS IT MOVES OFF THE COAST AND INTO SAHARA DUST IN THAT AREA.
2. AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE ASSOCIATED WITH A WESTWARD MOVING TROPICAL WAVE NEAR 34°/32° WEST, KNOW AS INVEST 94L. THIS SYSTEM CONTINUES TO SHOW SOME SIGNS OF ORGANIZATION, HOWEVER, THIS WAVE /LOW WILL WEAKEN SOME MAYBE EVEN DISSIPATE AS IT MOVES INTO DRYER AIR OVER THE CENTRAL ATLANTIC THEN REORGANIZE AS IT GETS EAST OF THE NORTHERN LEEWARD ISLANDS. I WILL BE WATCHING THIS WAVE CLOSELY.
3. A WEST MOVING TROPICAL WAVE NEAR 52°/50 WEST HAS A SHORT AXIS THAT EXTENDS SOUTHEAST AND IT SEEMS BE INTERACTING WITH MONSOONAL TROUGH AND ITCZ (INTER-TROPICAL CONVERGENCE ZONE WHICH IN HELPING TO PRODUCE SHOWERS AND STORMS IN THAT AREA. THERE ARE NO SIGNS OF ORGANIZATION AT THIS TIME.
3B. MISSED THIS WAVE WHEN DOING MAP I JUST ADDED IT. A WESTWARD MOVING TROPICAL WAVE NEAR 64°/63° WEST HAS SOME ISOLATED SHOWERS AND STORMS NEAR THE WAVES AXIS, BUT THERE ARE NO SIGNS OF ORGANIZATION AT THIS TIME.
4. A WESTWARD MOVING TROPICAL NEAR77°/76° WEST ALSO HAS SOME SHOWERS AND STORM NEAR THE AXIS BUT IS NOT SHOWING SIGNS OF ORGANIZATION.
