DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 500 PM AST (2100 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Kyle was located near latitude 39.4 North, longitude 63.2 West. Kyle is moving toward the east-northeast near 22 mph (35 km/h) and this general motion is forecast to continue this evening. A turn toward the east is expected by late Sunday or early Monday. Maximum sustained winds are near 50 mph (85 km/h) with higher gusts. Little change in strength is expected overnight, and gradual weakening is forecast to begin on Sunday. Kyle is expected to become post-tropical overnight or on Sunday. Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 175 miles (280 km) from the center. The estimated minimum central pressure is 1000 mb (29.53 inches).
