...DAY 1 SEVERE WEATHER OUTLOOK, TORNADO WATCH, AND OTHER WEATHER ADVISORIES....

APPROACHING COLD FRONT AND PRE-FRONT SQUALL LINE COULD PRODUCE SEVERE STORMS THIS MORNING AFTERNOON AND EVENING AS IT CROSSES THE STATE OF FLORIDA.  PROBABILITY ARE BETWEEN 5% CHANCE OF ISOLATED WATER SPOUTS AND TORNADO AND A 15% FOR DAMAGING WINDS FOR A PORTION OF NORTHERN AND CENTRAL FLORIDA.  THIS LINE HAS BEEN PRODUCING PLENTY OF LIGHTING OVER THE GULF WATERS.  BUT SOME WEAKENING HAS OCCURRED AS THE LINE LOSES SOME OF IT CONVECTIVE ENERGY.  WILL REMAIN ON WATCH FOR THE POSSIBILITY OF STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING FOR SOUTHERN HALF OF THE STATE.
