...STRONG STORM WITH LOW PRESSURE ASSOCIATED WITH IT SOUTH-SOUTHWEST OF THE CABO VERDE ISLANDS...

  • THERE IS A STRONG STORM WITH LOW PRESSURE SOUTH-SOUTHWEST OF THE CABO VERDE ISLANDS.  THIS LOW WILL HAVE A SHORT TIME FOR DEVELOPMENT IF AT ALL.  CONDITIONS AHEAD ARE NOT FAVORABLE FOR DEVELOPMENT AT THIS TIME.  I WILL KEEP AN EYE ON IT BUT IT SEEMS TO BE NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT.
  • NEW WAVE ABOUT TO MOVE OFF THE AFRICAN COAST AND IT IS VOID OF STORMS.  ANOTHER WAVE IN THE CENTRAL ATLANTIC ALSO NOT SHOWING SIGNS OF ORGANIZATION AT THIS TIME.  TWO MORE WAVES IN THE CARIBBEAN AND NO SIGNIFICANT STORMS OR DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATED WITH THESE WAVES EITHER.
  • A SURFACE TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE MOVED OVER FLORIDA FROM THE BAHAMAS OVER NIGHT. THIS TROUGH BROUGHT PLENTY OF MOISTURE OVER THE SOUTHERN PENINSULA AND MORE MOVING IN FROM THE ATLANTIC.  DRY AIR IS BEHIND THIS SYSTEM, AND MAY MOVE IN AS THIS SYSTEM MOVES INTO THE GULF.  STORMS ASSOCIATED WITH THIS TROUGH HAVE PLENTY OF LIGHTNING, SO "IF YOU HEAR THUNDER ROAR, MOVE INDOORS".
