NICOLE GARDUALLY BECOMING BETTER ORGANIZED AS IT TRACKS WESTWARD TOWARD THE NORTHERN BAHAMAS AND THE EAST COAST OF FLORIDA. NICOLE LACKING THUNDERSTORMS ON THE SOUTHERN QUADRANT OF NICOLE. SO THE WORST OF THIS STORM IS NORTH AND EAST OF THE CENTER. THIS VOID AREA IS DUE TO DRY AIR IN THE UPPER AND MID LEVELS OF THE ATMOSPEHERE.
OVER NIGHT NICOLE TRACKED A BIT NORTHWARD AND PROMPTED A NORTHWARD ADJUSTMENT TO THE NHC FORECAST TRACK. THIS IS GRADUALLY LESSENING THE IMPACT FOR SOUTH FLORIDA. ANY FURTHER SHIFT NORTHWARD THEN OF COURSE SOUTH FLORIDA WOULD BE IN THE CLEAR. AS IT IS NOW WE COULD STILL EXPERIENCE WIND GUST FROM 30-40 MPH INLAND AND STRONGER ALONG THE COAST.
WE COULD STILL FAST MOVING RAIN BANDS THAT AT TIME COULD BE HEAVY FOR A SHORT PERIOD UNLESS THEY BEGIN TO TRAIN OVER THE SAME AREAS. TRAINING RAIN BANDS OVER THE SAME AREA CAN PRODUCE EXCESS RAINFALL AND LOCALIZED URBAN FLOODING.
STAY UP TO DATE WITH HURRICANE CENTER UPDATES AND LOCAL MEDIA WEATHER.
