..PHILIPPE HAS MANAGED TO FIND A FAVORABLE SPOT FOR SOME DEVELOPMENT.. ..PHILLIPE IS ALSO IN A WEAK STEERING ENVIRONMENT AT THIS TIME..

GOOD MORNING!

It seems that Phillipe has moved into a favorable area for development. Wind shear is less in this area, and you can see storms firing up near the center as Philippe drifts.

High pressure has backed away to the east, leaving Philippe in a weak steering environment. Models show Philippe meandering between 60 degrees west and 50 degrees west latitude for the next couple of days until the next trough moves off the east coast and helps steer Philippe toward the northeast.
