The National Weather Service in Miami has extended the
* Flash Flood Warning for...
Central Broward County in southeastern Florida...
* Until 545 PM EDT.
* At 340 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between
3 and 6 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of
1 to 4 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is
ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
producing flash flooding.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.
* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood, Pompano Beach, Davie, Plantation,
Tamarac, Margate, Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, Lauderhill, Coconut
Creek, Oakland Park, North Lauderdale, Lauderdale Lakes, Dania
Beach, Wilton Manors, Sea Ranch Lakes, Lazy Lake, Twin Lakes,
Golden Heights and Franklin Park.
