TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK JULY 18, 2019


Tropical Weather Outlook
July 18, 2019 1100 AM EDT
Ralph's Tropical Weather (RTW)

1.  A westward moving tropical wave near 28°-27° has some isolated showers and storms near the southern axis of the wave mainly and interaction with the monsoonal trough and inter-tropical convergence zone (ITCZ).  There are no signs of development at this time.

2.  A westward moving tropical wave near 44°-42° West is void of any convection as the wave moves through a very dry environment.  There are no signs of organization at this time.

3.  A westward moving tropical wave near 58°-57° West has a small cluster of showers and storms  to the west of the northern axis of the wave near 60°- 57° West.  This wave is not showing signs of development at this time.

4.  A westward moving tropical wave near. 74°-71° West has some isolated showers and thunderstorms to the  west of the waves center axis.  These showers and storms are tracking west along Southeast Cuban coast and  and Jamaica.

Tropical cyclone formation is not expected through Saturday.
