Ralph's Tropical Weather
1. A westward moving tropical wave near 24°/23° and off the west coast of the Cabo Verde Islands is producing strong to moderate showers and storms on both sides of the waves center axis. These storms are being enhanced by the monsoon trough in this area. Some sow development could occur as it track further west.
2. A strong low pressure now know as Invest 99L continues to show signs of organization and a depression or tropical storm could form over the weekend as it tracks westward or west-northwestward.

3. A westward moving tropical wave near 54°/53° is moving through an area of Sahara dust/dry air.
4. Invest 98L a disorganized trough of low pressure continues to show some signs of organization. However, now that the low is right off the southeast of Florida development will be slow to occur. This system is forecast to move over the east of Florida then re-curve back toward the northeast and possibly become a depression or tropical storm over the Atlantic as it moves away form the U.S. coastline.
