SHOWERS AND STORMS ASSOCIATED WITH A SURFACE TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE OVER THE BAHAMAS HAS BECOME A BIT MORE CONCENTRATED OVER NIGHT.
ALTHOUGH SYSTEM IS TRYING TO ORGANIZE WINDS ARE BELOW TROPICAL DEPRESSION STRENGTH AT THIS TIME. THIS SYSTEM COULD DEVELOP FURTHER TODAY AND AS IT ENTERS THE GULF WATERS OVER THE WEEKEND. AFTER THAT THE NORTHERN GULF WOULD NEED TO MONITOR CLOSELY. HEAVY RAINS AND LOCALIZED FLOODING IS POSSIBLE OVER SOUTHERN FLORIDA TONIGHT AND ON SATURDAY AS THIS SYSTEM SLOWLY TRACKS ACROSS FLORIDA. STAY TUNED TO NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER OR NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE FOR ANY UPDATES. NOAA WEATHER RADIO IS A GOOD SOURCE FOR ALERTS AND INFORMATION.
