...A LOOK AT PRESENT WIND SHEAR AND SEA SURFACE TEMPERATURES...

 

Wind shear seems to be favorable ahead of 94L and points further west as well. Only thing that can hold back this storm from rapidly strengthening as it moves through the southern Caribbean will be the proximity to Venezuela and Colombian coast.

As for the Sea Surface temps they are relatively favorable in the path of 94L. As 94L moves away from the Colombian coast and over the open waters of the Southern Caribbean it should begin a steady strengthening process.
