...POTENTIAL TROPICAL CYCLONE ONE FLOODS SOUTH FLORIDA...STAY HOME DO NOT VENTURE OUT...

Waking up to a wet mess in south Florida, flooded streets and homes after Potential Tropical Cyclone One dumps over 10 inches of rain in some areas of Miami-Dade.  Metro-Dade fire has been spending their morning performing water rescue due to driver stalling out in deep road waters.  There has been reports of urban flooding as well on the fire channels.

These first responders have also been responding to numerous house fires and by you driving out in flooded waters and stalling out they have to stop to help you, when there are other life threatening calls they have to respond too.

Please don't venture out on these flooded roads, don't walk in these flooded roads there may be sharp objects, live power lines, or even sink holes obscured by flood waters.  Also there are lakes near parking lots that have risen to street level.  You can easily drive your vehicle into one of these lakes if you can't see it.  If road is flooded turn around, don't drown!
