...STORM INVEST NOW HAS A MED 40% CHANCE OF FORMATION WITHIN 48 HOURS AND WITHIN 5 DAYS...

 

At 0200 PM EDT NHC is now giving Invest 95L in the Gulf a 40/40% chance of developing into a depression or tropical storm.  Heavy rains is the main concern at this time.

As for Storm Invest in the Atlantic it still at 0/20% chance for development within 48 hrs and within 5-days.  CMC model so far is the only model that hints at development as it tracks toward the west-northwest. However, latest satellite shows a disorganized area of showers.  I will continue to watch both closely.
