...IAN FORECAST TO RAPIDLY STRENGTHEN LATER THIS EVENING...FROM CENTRAL TO SOUTH FLORIDA SLIGHT RISK EXCESSIVE RAIN FALL... POSSIBILITY OF FLASH FLOODS BY DAY THREE DAY 3...

AS IT IS RIGHT NOW IT LOOKS LIKE A NORTHERN FLORIDA TO CENTRAL WEST COAST IMPACT.  STILL TO EARLY TO TELL IF THE GFS WILL STAY ON THE LEFT OF THE TRACK VS THE EURO TRACK TOWARD CENTRAL FLORIDA.

SATELLITE SHOWS A DISORGANIZED IAN THAT IS EXPECTED TO RAPIDLY INTENSIFY LATER TODAY.

SOUTHEAST FLORIDA MAIN THREAT IS THE POSSIBILITY OF HEAVY RAINFALL THAT COULD PRODUCE FLASH FLOODING AND WPC CHART SHOWS A DAY 3 SLIGHT RISK OF EXCESSIVE RAINFALL FOR CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN FLORIDA.  AS IAN TRACKS FURTHER NORTH THOSE EXCESSIVE RAINFALL PROBABILITY SPREAD NORTHWARD.

SO THOSE OF YOU IN THE TRACK CONE SHOULD BEGIN THINKING OF PREPARING IN CASE IAN MAKES AND UNEXPECTED SHIFT IN TRACK.  THOSE ON EITHER SIDE OF THE NHC TRACK SHOULD PREPARE YOUR PROPERTY FOR THE POSSIBILITY OF STORM CONDITIONS EVEN THOUGH FORECAST CALLS FOR WEAKENING BEFORE LANDFALL.  DON'T TAKE THE CHANCE.
