TROPICAL DEPRESSION FIVE AUG 24, 2019

TROPICAL DEPRESSION FIVE
1256 PM EDT...AUG 24, 2019
RALPH'S TROPICAL WEATHER- RTW

My apology for the late update but I was up analyzing these storm systems until 4 am this morning so I was beat and dead tire from a long week at work.  So here is my afternoon update!

As I mentioned in this morning tropical update this swirl in the Atlantic was going to reach depression or storm status today.  Defying Sahara dust and all this system is poised to become a tropical storm before reaching the Lesser Antilles and a hurricane as it enter the eastern Caribbean.
However, this system is not yet completely in the African dust plume.  Below Sahara dust image show a large plume of dust and T.D. five is on the southeast edge of the dust but not yet in the bulk of it.  This could hinder or slow development.  May be a good thing for the islands so cross your fingers.
